This isn’t a job for a performer. It’s a job for a builder.
Canada is hiring its next Prime Minister. And just like any responsible employer, it’s time we got serious about the job description—and the qualifications required to do it well.
The parties will try to sell us polished faces, clever slogans, and staged outrage. But we need to look past the surface. We need someone who can do the hard work of rebuilding a country that’s been divided, exhausted, and drained of trust.
THE JOB DESCRIPTION
We don’t need a cheerleader for one region. We need a unifier. We don’t need someone who reads polls. We need someone who reads the room. We don’t need more promises. We need proof of work.
We are not voting for a personality. We are hiring a national leader.
The next Prime Minister must:
✅ Build trust across regions, cultures, and industries
✅ Stop blaming and start solving
✅ Lead with courage and conviction—not convenience
✅ Act for all Canadians, not just the base
And with Mark Carney now leading the Liberal Party, we have one more thing to evaluate: not just who a leader is, but how they’ve shown up in hard moments. Character, record, and resilience matter more than photo ops. Swapping Trudeau for Carney may give the Liberals a new face, but Canadians deserve more than a rebrand—they deserve a reset. If the party is gaining ground in the polls, we should ask: has anything really changed beneath the surface?
HIRING QUESTIONS FOR EVERY CANDIDATE
Ask yourself:
- What have they actually built?
- When have they united, not just talked about unity?
- Who do they listen to—and who do they ignore?
- What will they leave behind for the next generation?
Canada can’t afford to hire the wrong person. Not this time.
This is a leadership test. Let’s stop letting them cheat on it.
